No, it’s not guarding the dumpster or protecting Mortimer’s inventions from the one-eyed man. It’s not about the story at all. This is a mission for Flash’s blog!
Did you see last week when Flash and Lucy got in trouble for acting so ugly to each other? They have to act that way in the book. But on the blog, all the characters, even Lucy, want the same thing—for Cindy to sell her book so kids can read it.
That means we like totally have to be a TEAM.
In our story, TEAM stands for Totally Excellent Ani-Mals. We’re the ones trying to keep Mortimer’s inventions safe. I wanted it to be Totally Excellent Cats, but Dewey said that didn’t spell TEAM. Bummer, huh?
Luckily Ani-Mals is perfect for the blog, since Lucy’s not a cat.
Wait a minute, dude! It’s not perfect, at all. Because our fans are part of our TEAM, too. And you guys are humans, not animals.
Oh, man, this really stinks. What am I going to do now? It has to spell TEAM. You know, because we’re like a team working with Cindy to get our book published.
Oooh! Oooh! I know! How about this? Totally Excellent Animals and hu-Mans! Wowie, am I smart or what?
