Flash: Good grief! What is going on around here? You scared me to death with all that yelling!
Ringo: Far out, we did it! Hey everybody, you should see Flash. His tail is like totally huge. I think we surprised him good!
Dewey: Congratulations, Flash. Your blog reached 10,000 hits early yesterday morning.
Flash: It did? Wow, I’ve been so busy helping Cindy with her new story and figuring out Operation Story Share that I haven’t been paying attention to the count. Wow. Double WOW!
Ringo: Hee hee! Dude, all your fans having been watching since like Monday when I noticed how close we were. But we wanted to keep it a secret and surprise you.
Flash: Wow. I don’t know what else to say!
Dewey: Reaching 10,000 hits is quite an accomplishment. I think we should give a round of applause to all the loyal fans of Operation Blog.
Ringo: Except we can’t, because we don’t have any hands! Sorry, you’ll have to clap for yourselves, okay? While you’re doing that and Flash calms down, you can read the questions he answered for three of his favorite loyal fans . . .
Hayley has a question. “Hey Flash do you have a favorite cat treat!”
Well, my favorite food is still meatloaf. But I also love cheese, especially cheddar. Eric brought me a little piece of cheddar when he first discovered me in the house. That’s why I let him pet me, even though he was the enemy.
Anna wants to know: “Do u like to be bathed when u have been out playing?”
Hmmm, let me think about that for a minute—NO! I don’t like water except to drink. Remember when I fell in the river and almost drowned? I know that some crazy cats like water, but I am NOT one of them. It makes my whiskers curl to watch it, but if you would like to see some of those nut cases who like water, click here and take a look at this YouTube video.
Kaitlynn asks, “What is your favorite animal besides a cat?”
Wow, that’s a hard one. My favorite animal to hunt is a mouse. Mice are a little easier to catch than birds because they can’t fly away. Big, buzzy flies are fun to chase when I’m in the house, but I usually get in trouble for knocking things over. I’m guessing that’s not what you mean, though, is it? I think my favorite animal would have to be a LION! I’ve never actually met one, but I’ve seen them on TV. If I didn’t want to be a secret agent, I’d want to be a lion.
Wow, again! Ten thousand is an awfully big number. It’s hard to believe we made it already. I have the best fans ever! Thank you, everybody!
