Flash Goes to School!

Look at me! Can you guess where I am? No, it’s not a shoe convention!

How about now? Any guesses? I’ll give you a hint. The foot in the purple Converse belongs to Cindy and the rest of the feet (besides the four furry brown ones) belong to kids.

Now, do you get it? I’m at a school visit with all my fans at Ponderosa Elementary! Man, oh man, was it FUN! And I didn’t even have to stow away, I was invited to go.

I had a top-secret meeting in the school library with three classes of third graders. (Code name: Operation Famous Flash.) In case you were wondering, this is the very same location where Mrs. Boman, Librarian Extraordinaire, read my story to them.

It was awesome to meet all my adoring fans, up close and personal! Don’t tell them I said so, but I think they were a little star struck, getting to meet a soon to be famous imaginary cat like me. I let Cindy do the talking, since she has a real mouth and I don’t. She actually did a pretty good job answering all their questions. That’s teamwork for you!

I hope all my new fans who stop by the blog for a visit will leave me a comment so I can get to know them better. I LOVE my fans!

I am the Professional Mews for Cindy Strandvold, as well as a huge fan of middle-grade books. Which, coincidentally, is the age Cindy writes for.
