Since Flash is taking the week off, he left me in charge. You’d think having to do Operation Story Share might make me nervous, but it doesn’t. Dude, I like read another WHOLE BOOK! It wasn’t super long, but it didn’t have ANY pictures! I mean, NONE. And it was really, really good!
Oh, yeah, sorry, this is Ringo. I bet you can’t guess what I’m recommending today! Come on, just one guess! Pretty please? Okay, fine, I’ll just tell you–Mudshark, by Gary Paulsen.
Cindy says Gary Paulsen has written a bunch of good books. I don’t know about that, but I do know that Mudshark is totally groovy. See, it’s about this really smart kid with a weird nickname who notices things. So when you lose your homework or your dad’s new car, you can ask Mudshark and he’ll know where to find it.
I don’t want to ruin the story for you, so I’ll just tell you it has to do with a physic parrot, a rampaging gerbil, an epic emergency in the teachers’ bathroom, and a whole lot of missing chalkboard erasers.
Ooooh, oooooh! It sounds AWESOME, doesn’t it? You’ve totally got to read Mudshark by Gary Paulsen—I promise it’ll have you laughing your whiskers off.
