When Cindy was a little girl she ate pizza every year for Thanksgiving dinner.
Because she didn’t like turkey and her mom was nice enough not to make her eat something she didn’t like on Thanksgiving day. For lots of people Thanksgiving is all about the food, but Cindy still doesn’t care about a big, traditional meal.
Her family travels to Moab, Utah every year to feast on time spent together in God’s beautiful creation.
For Cindy’s family, Thanksgiving means trail mix, gummy bears and beef jerky eaten while enjoying panoramic views from the top of fantastic rock formations.
They insist it beats turkey and dressing, paws down.
Being an imaginary cat, I wouldn’t know. Although I must admit, turkey sounds pretty good to me.
What about you? Does your family have any untraditional traditions for Thanksgiving?
