Read Till You Drop

Flash surrounded with booksDon’t bother me during the next two days. I’ll be reading. Yes, I’m participating in Ms. Yingling’s 48 Hour Book Challenge to see how many of the next 48 hours I can spend reading and blogging about the books I read.

Actually Cindy and I are doing this challenge together. She’s the official contestant, but I’ll be reading over her shoulder and writing the blog updates. Cindy says we’re doing this for fun and won’t be skipping things like sleep and meals and showers just to get in a few more hours. I say GO BIG or GO HOME!

I guess we’ll see who gets their way.

We have a big pile of possible books, some Cindy has bought, some from the library, some on her Nook, some middle-grade, some grown-up, some classic, some modern. So we’ll have lots of choices in reading material.

And we’ll even have company! Cindy’s 19-year-old daughter, Emily, has agreed to unofficially join in the fun.

Reading Challenge

You can play along, too! Just click here to read the official rules and sign up for your 48 hour period between now and Monday morning, or tag along unofficially like Emily.

Stay tuned! I will update you on our progress with short blog  posts when we finish each book.

Any predictions about how many hours or books we’ll manage to read before Sunday morning?

About flashthecatblog

I am the Professional Mews for Cindy Strandvold, as well as a huge fan of middle-grade books. Which, coincidentally, is the age Cindy writes for.
