Done! Done, done, DONE! Well . . . kindof. Cindy is quickly reading it over today for the final, final time. Then she will send it to our agent this afternoon or tomorrow. I’ll let you know as soon as we hear what she thinks.
Ringo wanted to answer the rest of his questions today, but he spent all afternoon chasing flies around the house. He promises he will have them answered and ready to go on Monday.
I, on the other paw, answered my questions! So, once again, it’s time for . . .
Ethan asks, “What town do you live in?”
That’s a good question. I really couldn’t tell you, it doesn’t have a name in the book. But a place Cindy visited in North Carolina is what inspired the countryside with all the woods and rivers and waterfall in my story.
SKJ wants to know, “Do you like Emily?”
Ummm . . . not really. Cats often pick one person that is their favorite. I picked Eric, which turned out to be a great choice since he is an exceptional friend to felines. Emily isn’t nearly as nice, and she has an evil smile that I don’t trust!
A question from anonymous. “Do you have a bushy tail?”
Yes! My tail is one of my finest features, along with my beautiful blue eyes. It is very fluffy and soft. Unfortunately, it collects thistles when I’m in the woods. Fortunately, now I have Eric to comb them out for me!
Drat! That was over way too fast! Now we have to wait until next Friday for more “Ask Flash!” The kids ask such good questions, next week is sure to be great–don’t miss it!
Wow, Flash. Cindy must be really glad to be done with those revisions, and really tired too, I bet. Please, please don’t walk on her while she’s trying to sleep after she sends them in. Let her get at least one good nap before feeding time, okay, Flash?
Oh, and give her my congratulations!
Thanks! We’re both glad to be done, that’s for sure. And I’ll try to tippy-toe very carefully over her when she takes a nap this afternoon!
Now it is time to wait again. Hopefully this one won’t be too long.
Yes, this first one shouldn’t be. Once it gets sent to the editor at the publishing company it will probably be a while.
wow congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell Cindy that she is a Rock Star for not giving up on this book!!!!!!!
I’ll tell her. I bet it will make her laugh!
Hooray! You finally have the revisions done!
I know! Now Cindy has to e-mail the manuscript back to our agent tomorrow. If she approves it, she’ll send it on to the publisher. I’ve got my whiskers crossed!
We are all ‘rooting’ for you.
Thanks! Cindy hit “send” about 30 seconds ago. It’s ON ITS WAY!
that`s so cool! hope it gets done REALLY soon! Fingers crossed!!!!!!!
It’s been sent to our agent. Whiskers crossed, too! I’ll let you know when we hear from her.
ok i can`t wait1
I hate waiting, too! It makes my whiskers itch!
