Ringo: Hey, Flash! Dude, did you see how many views we got on Thursday? Three hundred and seventy-eight!
Flash: I know! That’s because we’ve got a whole new classroom of fans all the way down in Oklahoma.
Ringo: No way.
Flash: Way. Mrs. Candler’s third graders. One of them even asked about you, but you were busy typing up your book recommendation so I didn’t tell you.
Ringo: Really? That’s totally awesome! I can’t believe I missed it! Umm . . . where’s Oklahoma?
Flash: It’s about 700 miles southeast of where we live in Colorado.
Ringo: Cool! That’s like super far away!
Lucy: Never mind about that. I talked to a girl who said she was going to write me back! She seemed really nice, even though she thought I was a cat until she saw my adorable picture on the blog.
Flash: HA! A stinky butt-sniffer like you could never be a fine feline like us!
Lucy: You mean a fur-licking freak of nature?
Ringo: Stop it you guys! If you start fighting our new friends might not come to visit us anymore.
Flash: Sorry. You’re right, Ringo. Instead of arguing, we should be welcoming our new Oklahoma fans to Operation Blog and thanking our longtime Colorado fans for all their faithful support. Who knows? Maybe someday we’ll have fans from all 50 states!
Ringo: Ooooh ooooh! Dude, wouldn’t it be like totally groovy to know where all our fans are from?
Lucy: What a good idea! That would be fun!
Flash: Okay fans, here’s your challenge. We know we have fans from Colorado and Oklahoma. If you’re reading this and live somewhere else, send us a comment to tell us where you’re from. I’m sure Dewey would love to tally it up or make us a graph or a chart or something. Right, Dewey? Why am I even asking? Of course he would.

Soon after your book is published, you will have fans from all 50 states. All you need is for kids to be able to read your book. Hopefully it won’t be long now.

Flash, Do u like pictures? Like when ur mom drags u to Wal*Mart to have a Christmas picture done. I did that today. She made me put my long strawberry blond hair down. I always keep my hair up for my pictures and it makes me look like I am bold. I hate putting my hair down. Life goes on, I guess. 🙂
Cats love attention, so I like having my picture taken. But I’ve never done it at Wal-Mart, so I don’t know about that. I guess I’m lucky that I don’t have to worry about my hair. I can understand your concerns though. I hate it when my whiskers look cockeyed!
